From first idea to handover, one team and five sign-off gates
One contract covers manufacturing, shipping and installation, and the work stops for your approval at five points written into it.
Start early
Talk to us at the first idea
The best time to involve us is when you first decide to build or refurbish. Decisions made before the design is fixed shape what the rooms cost, how long they take and how they perform. For boutique hotels we often start with the brand itself.
When the design and materials are clear, a quote takes about one week. If the design is only partly complete, for example with the furniture and materials not yet selected, we recommend finishing the design first so that the quote is firm rather than full of allowances. Cocoplum Design Studio can do that design work, or we can work with your own designer.

The work stops for your approval at five points
At each gate you can stop, change or proceed. The gates are in the contract, with the documents you receive at each one.
Evidence brief and concept
What the room must do for the guest, and the design decisions that deliver it.
Shop drawings and material submittals
Every item drawn and sampled to your architect's specification.
Prototype room
One complete room, built and signed off before volume production.
Pre-shipment inspection
Production photographed and measured against the approved sample.
Installed room at handover
Every room snagged against the prototype before it is handed over.
The prototype room
Walk the room before a single production piece is made
Before volume production we build one complete guest room to the approved specification: casegoods, seating, lighting, soft furnishings and bathroom joinery, finished to every detail the guest will see, down to the waterproofing.
Your team visits the factory, walks the room and feels the design and materials, then signs it off. Nothing goes into volume production until that signature is on the record.
Changes found at that stage cost one room to fix. The same change found sixty rooms in costs sixty.
Delivery and installation
Installed by people who have done it for years
Our installers are permanent staff who have worked with us for more than ten years, and they travel to install in Australia. On Rixos Premium Bodrum, a 409-room five-star resort, the combined manufacturing and installation window was three months.
If you prefer, we can work with local contractors or your own installers. Because quality at installation decides how the finished room performs, we guarantee the installation our own team carries out.
After handover
One party answers for every item
- 10-year warranty on the frame, and never less than the law requires in your state
- Fabrics carry the fabric supplier's warranty
- Spare stock supplied for your store, which we recommend
- Prices include shipping; GST and import duty are payable in Australia; payments are staged against milestones
